Ronald Reagan’s Pumpkin Pecan Pie

2 cups canned pumpkin (or fresh)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 unbaked pie crust
1 cup pecans, chopped
- Beat eggs in mixing bowl for 30 sec.
- Add pumpkin, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
- Mix until well blended.
- Pour into pie shell and sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 50 min.
- Let cool an hour.
