Baked Potato Dip by Bo Phillips

Ingredients: 
8 oz sour cream
16 oz cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. real bacon bits
4 - 6 jalapenos (finely chopped) or to taste
16 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and half the cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl. 
  2. Spoon contents into a baking pan. 
  3. Spread remainder of cheddar cheese on top of mixture. 
  4. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted thoroughly (about 20 minutes)

For a lighter version, use 1/3 less fat cream cheese, fat free sour cream, and 1/3 less fat cheddar cheese.

Do NOT use fat free cream cheese!
